Auto Rivnut Cell
The auto rivnut cell combines a Fanuc CRX-10iA/L cobot, a Moorfeed feeder, a full controls cabinet, and conveyors to complete this automated process. The feeder presents a rivnut, and then the cobot with custom EOAT picks up the rivnut and places and tightens it at the correct point using vision.
Wheel Disassembly

The challenge for this project is that the specific wheels we are working with have lugs that need to be held on one side while the other side is fastened or unfastened. To solve this, we're using two UR30s and vision. One robot holds the lug on one side while the other fastens or unfastens.
Multi-Spindle Lug Secure
For this application, we worked with our partners at Desoutter Industrial Tools to provide a solution to tighten and retighten 10 lugs of a truck wheel. The 10 spindle system moves in and out as one unit, and gives OK/NOK readings to ensure quality and prevent over or undertorqued bolts.
Robotic Screwdriving Cell
A Yamaha cartesian robot and a Desoutter screwdriver work together in this solution to form an automated screwdriving cell. With traceability, ability to hit specific torque values, and impressive movement speed, this is a great setup for quick and accurate tightening.
Schmalz Binar Ergo Glass
Moving glass with a high payload by hand is a ergonomic and safety risk. With our integration of the Schmalz Binar Ergo Glass, we help increase workplace safety and and efficiency. Equipped with an electric servo and with pneumatic tilt, it gets the job done safely and with ease.
Cobot Deburring and Sanding
To automate the sanding and deburring of gears, we used a FANUC CRX-10iA collaborative robot and 3D vision. The vision system identifies each gear for pickup, and the robot picks, sands, deburrs, and offloads it onto the rack.
